Long Weekend That Was Too Short

I took my daughter and son (and one of their friends – all teenagers), for a 4 day weekend. It was a somewhat last minute trip, and we were very lucky to secure “shakistan”. The layout is perfect for multiple activities. While my daughter was sunning and reading on the front deck, the rest of us played a lively game of rummy (with background music) on the back screen porch w/o even being aware of each others activity. An easy and short walk got us to the beach, and the beach wagon was clutch for transporting chairs, coolers, and the like. We were only able to get away for 4 days/3 nights but the accomodations allow you to comfortably settle in immediately and feel like you truly got away. I would recommend this property without hesitation, and would return without question.

It was our first trip to Winnipesaukee and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The beach was ideal, the location to manuever around the area couldn’t have been better. Native produce available 10 minutes away at Moulton Farms … delicious!

To borrow a phrase from my daughter, “This place rocks!”.
